"message": "Thanks for the review. I recommend upgrading to C11. `static_assert()` alone is worth the upgrade. Earlier this year I upgraded libavif, libaom, libvpx, and AVM (the AV2 reference software) to C11 while keeping their public headers C99.\n\nI would love to upgrade to C23, but for a project like libyuv that needs to support LTS (long-term support) versions of Linux distributions, we still need to wait for a few years.",
