330680e9fe Allow code_style.py to work from a git hook
When running a git hook, git sets certain environment variables (such
as GIT_INDEX_FILE) which force git to look at the main repository,
overriding other options. This trips up code_style.py whenever it
tries to run a git command on the framework submodule.

Fix this by explicitly clearing git-related environment-variables
before running git commands on the framework. This is recommended
by git's documentation[1]:

> Environment variables, such as GIT_DIR, GIT_WORK_TREE, etc., are
> exported so that Git commands run by the hook can correctly locate
> the repository. If your hook needs to invoke Git commands in a
> foreign repository or in a different working tree of the same
> repository, then it should clear these environment variables so
> they do not interfere with Git operations at the foreign location.

6bda5f5717 generate_test_keys: use keys from asymmetric_key_data.py
asymmetric_key_data.py already provides EC/RSA key pair values that
are suitable for generate_test_keys.py. So instead of re-generating
the keys using gen_key program, we use those keys.

This commit also:
- extends asymmetric_key_data.py to introduce
RSA bit sizes that are used in test_suite_pk but were missing from
asymmetric_key_data.py.
- updates test_keys.h with new keys.

092ce51c47 Rename "key generation method" to "key production parameters"
"Key generation method" was misleading since it also applies to key
derivation. Change "key generation" to "key production", which we aren't
using yet and has roughly the right intuition. Change "method" to
"parameters" which there seems to be a slight preference for. Discussion
thread: https://github.com/Mbed-TLS/mbedtls/pull/8815#discussion_r1486524295

Identifiers renamed:
psa_key_generation_method_t → psa_key_production_parameters_t
psa_key_generation_method_s → psa_key_production_parameters_s
PSA_KEY_GENERATION_METHOD_INIT → PSA_KEY_PRODUCTION_PARAMETERS_INIT
method → params
method_data_length → params_data_length
default_method → default_production_parameters
psa_key_generation_method_is_default → psa_key_production_parameters_are_default

69f11c8dfb generate key ext: skip driver invocation with non-default method
In the driver wrapper for psa_generate_key() and psa_generate_key_ext():

* Invoke the built-in code if using a non-default method, even if there
might be an accelerator. This is ok because we only support non-default
methods for RSA and we don't support driver-only RSA, therefore a
non-default method will always have built-in code behind it.
* Return NOT_SUPPORTED if trying to use a non-default method with an opaque
  driver.

c81393b2ed generate/derive key ext: pass method_data_length rather than method_length
Instead of passing the size of the whole structure, just pass the data
length and let the implementation worry about adding the size of the
structure. The intent with passing the structure size was to allow
the client code in a client-server implementation to know nothing
about the structure and just copy the bytes to the server. But that was not
really a useful consideration since the application has to know the
structure layout, so it has to be available in the client implementation's
headers. Passing the method data length makes life simpler for everyone by
not having to worry about possible padding at the end of the structure, and
removes a potential error condition
(method_length < sizeof(psa_key_generation_method_t)).

478dd84b63 Fix mixup between secp224r1 and secp224k1 in test scripts
secp224k1 is the one with 225-bit private keys.

The consequences of this mistake were:

* We emitted positive test cases for hypothetical SECP_R1_225 and
SECP_K1_224 curves, which were never executed.
* We emitted useless not-supported test cases for SECP_R1_225 and SECP_K1_224.
* We were missing positive test cases for SECP_R1_224 in automatically
  generated tests.
* We were missing not-supported test cases for SECP_R1_224 and SECP_K1_225.

Thus this didn't cause test failures, but it caused missing test coverage
and some never-executed test cases.

0ae58dd985 Unify MBEDTLS_TEST_OBJS
`$(MBEDTLS_TEST_OBJS)` included TLS-specific test support modules in
`tests/Makefile` but not in `programs/Makefile`. This difference is not
actually necessary. What is necessary is that all programs that use
functions from TLS-specific test support modules are linked with those
modules in addition to `-lmbedtls`, and programs that are not linked with
`-lmbedtls` are not linked with TLS-specific test support modules. Since we
always pass `-lmbedtls` when linking programs in `programs/Makefile`, we can
link with the TLS-specific test support modules as well. This keeps things
simpler.

0ec1e68548 Replace Windows APIs that are banned in Windows Store apps
CryptGenRandom and lstrlenW are not permitted in Windows Store apps,
meaning apps that use mbedTLS can't ship in the Windows Store.
Instead, use BCryptGenRandom and wcslen, respectively, which are
permitted.

Also make sure conversions between size_t, ULONG, and int are
always done safely; on a 64-bit platform, these types are different
sizes.

Also suppress macro redefinition warning for intsafe.h:

Visual Studio 2010 and earlier generates C4005 when including both
<intsafe.h> and <stdint.h> because a number of <TYPE>_MAX constants
are redefined. This is fixed in later versions of Visual Studio.
The constants are guaranteed to be the same between both files,
however, so we can safely suppress the warning when including
intsafe.h.

e820c0abc8 Update spelling "mbed TLS" to "Mbed TLS"
The official spelling of the trade mark changed from all-lowercase "mbed"
to normal proper noun capitalization "Mbed" a few years ago. We've been
using the new spelling in new text but still have the old spelling in a
lot of text. This commit updates most occurrences of "mbed TLS":

```
sed -i -e 's/mbed TLS/Mbed TLS/g' $(git ls-files ':!ChangeLog' ':!tests/data_files/**' ':!tests/suites/*.data' ':!programs/x509/*' ':!configs/tfm*')
```

Justification for the omissions:

* `ChangeLog`: historical text.
* `test/data_files/**`, `tests/suites/*.data`, `programs/x509/*`: many
occurrences are significant names in certificates and such. Changing
the spelling would invalidate many signatures and tests.
* `configs/tfm*`: this is an imported file. We'll follow the upstream
  updates.

a8861e086e Fix boolean options in the wrong section
Boolean options that modify the behavior of a module are supposed to be in
the "feature support" section, not in the "configuration options" support:
that section is documented to contain commented-out definitions with a
value, for which the comment contains the default version. In particular,
merely uncommenting a definition in the "configuration options" section is
not supposed to change anything.

Move the offending boolean options to the proper section.

This causes those options to be enabled by `config.py full` unless
explicitly excluded. For all the offending options, this is undesirable, so
make sure those options are indeed excluded.

8a25e6fdb2 code_size_compare: add old text and data section in CSV output
To keep a concise markdown table, we don't list text and data
section from old Git revision. However, it should be ideal to keep
those two sections in CSV output. Therefore, we list comparison
result for CSV output in following format:

 filename new(text) new(data) old(text) old(data) change(text) change(data)

Additionally, if a file only exits in new Git revision not in old
Git revision, it's marked as `NotCreated` as we haven't created this
file yet from perspective of old Git revision.

9b174e90d3 code_size_compare: generate text,data as comparison result
Previously we used dec(total) as comparison result of code size
measurement. However, it's not accurate because dec(total) is
the sum of text, data and bss. Now we show text, data instead
since those are sections we care about in code size perspective
specifically for TF-M.

7eea4a7a80 Enable MBEDTLS_PSA_CRYPTO_CONFIG in "config.py full"
Back when we introduced MBEDTLS_PSA_CRYPTO_CONFIG and it was still
experimental, it made sense that we tested it separately. Nowadays, the
feature is fully implemented, and the full config without
MBEDTLS_PSA_CRYPTO_CONFIG keeps cryptographic mechanisms that only have a
PSA implementation and aren't in the default build disabled (currently:
PBKDF2). So enable MBEDTLS_PSA_CRYPTO_CONFIG in the full config.

4c26db0845 code_size_compare.py: run make clean before build libraries
If we don't remove all executable files in current working
directory, we might measure code size between different architecture
and configuration. This generates a wrong code size comparison
report. This commit guarantees it runs `make clean` before build
libraries for code size comparison.

fd235bc9df Fix very high stack usage in SSL debug code
Use a switch instead of an array. The array was very hollow for some enum
types such as mbedtls_ssl_protocol_version (which formerly used small
values, but switched to using the protocol encoding as enum values in Mbed
TLS 3.2.0). Optimizing compilers know how to compile a switch into a lookup
table when the range warrants it.
